Plasma torch gasification of municipal solid waste biomass (garbage, sewage) provides a way the most difficult biomass can be broken down for use as feedstock for synthetic oil.

Used in conjunction with a 1,300°F molten salt reactor, no energy from the feedstock gas is needed to heat or power the oil synthesis process, producing more synthetic oil, more profitably, and environmentally cleaner.
