China, India, Most Other Countries Can Also Mitigate "Peak Oil"

Oil-poor China and India, along with many other countries, can convert their power station's coal burning boilers to liquid thorium boilers, add synthetic coal-to-oil refineries, reconnect the coal handling equipment to the coal-to-oil refineries, and then make oil from the coal the power station used to burn. 

There's more than enough real estate for a small CTL refinery beyond the far side of the coal storage yard.  (Locate it there in case of fire.)   The railroad tracks, coal car dumpers, coal conveyors, and coal pulverizers are already there.  See Page  2  >  for more.
